Hiking in Seefeld

Mountain huts in Seefeld

After a leisurely walk or a strenuous tour you will find many mountain huts and pastures to rest and recover.


Rosshütte Seefeld
Rosshütte (1721 m) with Seefelder Joch (2050m) – and Härmelekopfbahn (2224 m)
Just 15 minutes walk from the hotel is the valley funicular railway station to the Rosshütte. There you can either take a short hike or go on up to the Härmelekopf.
Rosshütte cable car
From the top station of the Rosshütte you can take with the small cable car further up to go to the Seefelder Joch or the larger cable car for breath-taking trip over the canyon to the Härmelekopf.
From the Härmelekopf you can continue to the Nördlinger Hut or to the Seefelder Spitze or walk via Reitherjochalm back to Seefeld.


Gschwandtkopf Seefeld
The Gschwandtkopf is ideal for sun-seekers. Not so high and not so steep it is easy accessible on foot or by chair lift. At the top there are routes to Reith and Auland, Mösern or back to Seefeld. At the top, Sonnenalm has a superb sun terrace with great views.
Circular Walk
The “small circular walk” has an exceptional view of the Inn Valley and on a clear day even as far as to the Zugspitze. There is a weekly series of walking tours by local bus.
